I am doing a live blog for two reasons, 1) the Eagles beat my beloved Cowboys twice last year and 2) McNabb made the asinine statement that you have to "go through Philly to win the NFC East,"  which is so ridiculous seeing that they are the only NFC East team under .500.  On with the festivities...(Note all times are in PST)

5:21pm:  Unforunately they bring up Andy Reid's domestic problems.  Which would matter if his son were not old enough to vote.  NOBODY should care!  It is not like they 14 year old drug addicts.  These are grown damn men.

5:24pm:  Jim Johnson showed Rocky tapes before the game.  WOW that is original.  Eagles get the ball first.

5:25pm:  Now the most worthless part WAIT...McNabb gets hit and coughs it up.  Gotta go through Philly huh?  He is drifting into Culpepper territory.

5:27pm:  TO in Philly making a play for a change.  I hate the guy but like Madden says AFTER he catches it, he is the most physical WR in the league.

5:28pm:  The Barbarian goes for 6 yds.  He is great.  They have to continue with this rotation.  That is what makes them (he and Julius Jones) great.  They stay fresh.

5:29pm:  And on cue JJ goes in for a TD.  Great start fellas.  Maybe we will get a chance to see our Defense next drive.

5:32pm:  McNabb overthrows Westbrook and is booed immediately.  Gotta love Philly fans.  Two minutes into a game and they are already booing their MVP.

5:34pm:  They say they want to pick on Reeves which makes sense.  Because he is the only starting corner that Reggie Brown can beat for a catch.  Pathetic.

5:35pm  Westbrook looks spry early however we won't let him get the big gain.  Especially since their... and before I can complete the sentence Reeves lets freaking Reggie Brown loose for a big gain.

5:37pm:  Ok I am officially a member of the why on gawd's green earth is Jacques Reeves our 3rd CB.  Does that makes that even make sense?  This dude barely made the team.  7-7.  We want to win a Super Bowl but continue to spend 7th Round picks on CBs when it is painsteakingly obvious we need to upgrade our depth.  (Ok, I've settled down now)

5:41pm  Where is Woody Dantzler when you need him.  One prediction for this game.  No kick return TDs, has there been a more delapidated return game between two teams than these two.  Vai Sikahema and Kelvin Martin need to both make returns.

5:43pm:  Everyone forgets that Julius Jones has two 200 yd games in his career.  Run those two until they are ragged.

5:45pm:  Gotta say I love what Jason Garrett has done this year better career than Aikman's post playing days.  He and Joe Buck are the worst.

5:46pm:  TO catches another crossing pattern which is remarkable because he has to be the worst slant catcher in the world next to Raider Randy Moss.

5:48pm:  Romo and The Barbarian connect for 2 first downs.  Romo really does have IT.  (IT being VD if he in fact is with Britney Spears)

5:49pm:  It is looking to be a Barn burner.  Which does not bode well for the Eagles.  They don't have the weapons.  TD Romo to Tony Curtis.  Curtis would start for birds if you didn't know.  14-7 BOYS.

5:51pm:  One day soon Christmas ads will start on LABOR DAY.  They just seem to drop back further and further.

5:53pm:  C. Buckhalter must have photos of Andy Reid snorting blow or something because no coach would show this much loyalty for a marginal RB than Reid for Buck.  Especially since the Eagles have no problem cutting the likes of Trotter, Vincent, Staley and others.

5:55pm:  The way the Eagles are running the ball worries me.  We should be stuffing them.

5:56pm:  Guess Aikman was right about something,  McNabb is the most inaccurate passer in the league most times.  Yet another overthrow.

5:58pm:  End of the first quarter with a 14-7 lead.  Guess we shook that first quarter bug.  Although if Donovan was an elite QB the score would be 14-14.  We have to get better against the pass.  Doesn't the Rocky/Philly get old.  Has the city won a championship since that movie was released.  I am close to making a "Rocky curse" article.

6:01pm:  They just showed the TO-Dononvan comparison versus his other WRs which was a QB rating of 101 to 78.  Not good.  Maybe an elite WR helps all systems.

6:02pm:  Has any other QB thrown as many grass burners as Mcnabb?  Tavaris Jackson at least gives his guys a chance.  You can't throw that many uncatchable balls and still be considered an elite QB.

6:04pm:  Patrick Crayton, with 99 catches on 2 straight Madden games, fair catches at the 10.

6:06pm:  It is funny that Reggie Bush, with as little to show for his celebrity gets so many commercials.  Can you imagine Dave Meggett being a media darling.

6:08pm:  TO has not dropped a single pass.  It is impossible to imagine him not dropping at least 4 passes a game but it is still early.

6:14pm:  Reno Mahe with yet another 5 yd return.  GOTTA LOVE IT!

6:16pm:  Green week for NBC. Worthless.  Send five reporters to various places on private jets to add to global warming.  Idiots.

6:18pm:  Personal foul on TNEW.  The officiating this year has been NBAesk.  I can't remember so many phantom calls, missed calls and flat out blown calls.

6:20pm:  2nd and 2 turns into 4th and 2.  Great stand for the D.  Reid maybe just a little conservative.  Can you say mental block?  Run D is definitely improving.

6:23pm:  TO is having a huge day so far.  He has been playing with a W. Bush type of resolve.

6:24pm:  The Eagles can't seem to do anything with TO.  Maybe they need to spend an entire draft on CB again this offseason.

6:25pm:  Madden turns the clear into very obvious.  The Boys O-line is beating up that Eagles D-line.  They are undersized with the likes of Cole and Juqua Thomas but what happened to those 1st round tackles Pattersona and Bunkley

6:28pm:  Romo comes back with another Brett Favre type play.  What the hell did he see.  Bad QB play can make any DB look like the second coming of Ronnie Lott.  Lito Sheppard has made a living off of bad QB play.

6:33pm: While in discussion with Blickees editor JP Williams about the Bad QB play.  McNabb throws an Int to Hamlin.  He of the Kanye West lock jaw grill.  Apparently Donovan doesn't throw alot of picks.  I would hope so when you throw 20 screens a game.

6:36pm:  The Barbarian muscles his way into the endzone.  Why is he so physical?  It is almost Superman-like how he refuses to go down.

6:37pm:  The Barbarian only trails LT and LJ on touchdowns by rushes since the beginning of last season.  He is splitting carries folks.

6:39pm:  Yet another screen to Westbrook.  The Eagles are in full second half Super Bowl mode.  How can you not try to go down field at least once.  Maybe you need to try to spend a 1st rounder on wideout instead of another lineman or a QB who will not see the field for another 2 years.  The Eagles front office, Gotta Love Em.

6:42pm:  Halftime 21-7 Boys.

6:45pm:  While we are here allow me talk about the BIG Game.  The Patriots stepped up and made the plays when they counted.  Brady has gotten to Culpepper stage where he just hurls it up for Moss no matter the coverage.  Yet again during crunch time Manning folds under pressure.  What was he trying to do?  He has never been the greatest at improv.  But for the love of GAAAAAAWD why not take the sack.  Granted, no one was open but he basically gave the Pats the game.  On a side note Joe Addai is moving into elite territory.  He will be the difference in the playoffs when the Colts win.  Also what happened to the Pats just running their offense.  "What do you want me to do run a play?"  UH Yeah.  Someone needs to go Frank Lucas on Brady or Belichick.

6:56pm:  We get the ball at the half.  Awesome.  The run game continues to impress.  The Eagles can not stop neither of our backs.

6:58pm:  45 yard strike to TO.  No one was within 8 yds of TO when he caught the ball.  Are the Eagles even trying?  Some part of me is a little concerned that they are setting us up for a late season collapse.  28-7 Dallas.

7:07pm:  We are getting pressure on McNabb and we are keeping everything in front of us.  The Eagles need a go-to WR so bad it hurts.  When it is 3rd & long and you don't even look at the your wide outs there is a problem.  28-10 Boys.

7:13pm:  Flozell Adams gets his first of his trademarked false starts.  How can you make multiple Pro Bowls when you are known to be good for at least 2 false starts a game?  Is he deaf?

7:15pm:  JJ continues to prove his worth.  TO being moved around is probably the best move I have seen from our Offense.  TO in the slot is uncoverable.  Followed by a late hit and fight with no punches  That was a cheap shot.  He just tried to kill Julius.  "If you can't beat them give a concussion!"

7:18pm:  "Dish run away with the spoon."  Madden with a Nursery rhyme reference that I have never heard before in an NFL broadcast.

7:19pm:  Floater to Witten for a TD.   They definitely have the Aikman-Novachek magic.  Great throw and catch.  35-10 Boys.

7:21pm:  Love those Coors Light commercials.  Especially the Big tuna ones.  Really who was the reporter who asked the questions they were based on?  Do they sit at home and say "That ^#@$^ er"

7:23pm:  It took McDonalds 3 years to make a commercial from the "Cha- Cha" song quite possibly the worst dance of all time.  Pretty funny though.  But I still hate when I am in a club a some idiot DJ puts it on.   Why must I suffer.

7:25pm:  Another pass to Westbrook.  When will Andy learn.  The announcers have gotten bored with the game now.  The conversation about Reid's family ensues.  It is funny how fast this happens.  Why are they trying to make an issue from an non-issue.  I have known kids that grew up in great homes and turn to the Dark side.   How can he control his adult sons?   Ridiculous.

7:30pm:  Another sack by Demarcus Ware.  It's over.  The Eagles have no fight in them.  This is fun.  However, there is something anti-climactic about this game.  But we will take this victory everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

7:39pm:  Jason Witten loses his helmet (on a helmet to helmet hit no less) and dashes another 29 yards after the hit.  LOVE that guy.  Bloody nose and all.  He has to be all Madden now.

7:41pm:  Madden makes the obilgatory Pats reference but we are not running up the score.  There is plenty of time left.  The Eagles can score they are not the Dolphins.

7:43pm:  We run the ball 3 straight times at the goal line.  Kick the field goal.  That is not running up the score.  Not going for it on 4th and goal up 38.

7:45pm:  Is it good practice to show the "Inside Manning's" head commercials after he has had a huge loss and cost his team the victory.  Just know he can't stand those things right now.

7:48pm: Yet another Rocky reference with Witten getting tended to by the trainer for his bloody nose.  Love the producers' originality.  The Madden phone commercials are hilarious.  Who wouldn't jump to show Madden their stuff then show that they have no business showing their stuff.

7:49pm:  Now the Eagles want to go long.  Speaking of long, has a rookie ever won Offensive Player of year?  Does AP have any competition? Brett Favre maybe?

8:02pm:  TNew drops another INT.  If he had hands he would be an All Pro.  He is always there.  Just has no idea how to catch the damn ball.

8:14pm:  Anthony Henry shows Newman how to do it.  He leads the league if you didn't know even after missing two games.

8:15pm:  Can we get some respect now.  They talked about how we hadn't played anyone.  Supposedly our defense was weak and couldn't defend the pass.  Now I will admit that we are not the Pats but obviously we are the best in the NFC.  This game like my blog is over.  38-17 The Boys.  Bring on the Giants.
